First up on the roundup we were well represented at various parkruns on Saturday morning. Slawek and Stan travelled to Corkagh parkrun, Derek was at Shanganagh (19:04), our newest member Marc completed Avondale in (25:52), meanwhile at Gorey we had Kevin (21:21), Carol (24:36), Aoife (24:53), Elaine (24:55), Esme (26:03), Carmel (26:49), Geraldine (27:08) & Gareth (29:05).
On Sunday morning nine of our Juveniles completed the Duckpond Junior parkrun. Well done to Beth, Chloe, Ethan, Hanna, Harper, Layla, Libby, Mollie & Tommy. Thanks to the volunteer roster of Aimee, Alison, Aoife, Carmel, Esme, Geraldine, Jacqueline, Kevin, Slawek, Tiernan & Zydrune. We are always looking for new volunteers so don’t be shy in getting in touch!
Also on Sunday Ross and Billy headed north to take on the Belfast Marathon. Huge congratulations to both lads who showed that their months of hard work and training paid off with Ross finishing in (3:51) and Billy in (3:56). Enjoy the achievement and the recovery!
There will be NO Juvenile training on Monday 2nd May due to Bank Holiday. The Wicklow Track and Field event will be held on Saturday 7th May. Please check the parents Whatsapp group for more details during the week.
