Weekly Roundup October 30th

Gareth kicked off the weekend’s action by completing Tullow parkrun in 32:22, well done Gareth! The Saturday morning crew enjoyed some wet miles around the town!

All roads led to the capital on Sunday for the Dublin City Marathon. This was the first time since 2019 that we had the chance to take part in this fantastic event. A total of 8 members completed the 26.2 mile course following months of training. The work paid off with everyone putting in fantastic performances. Thanks also to the SBIM cheerleading squad of Donna, Justin, Gillian, Slawek & Sam for their support and encouragement. Well done to:

Stan – 3:12 PB
Derek – 3:27 PB
Michael – 3:34
Peter – 4:11
Kevin – 4:23 PB
Elaine – 4:36 PB
Alison – 4:45
Susan – 5:55

Also on Sunday our Juveniles took on the Spooktacular Junior parkrun. Well done to Abbie, Bronagh, Ella, Ethan F, Harper, Libby, Maebh, Oliver, Senan & Tommy.

There is no Juvenile training this week due to the midterm break. Senior training continues every Tuesday at 7pm.
