Weekly Roundup Feb 12th

The weekend began on Friday and we were delighted to host Round 4 of the Juvenile League. A total of 307 young athletes from around the Wicklow Clubs took part in their respective age category races at the running track.

Well done to our 52 boys and girls below who ran superbly on a very chilly evening. Big thanks to all the clubs, supporters, and our coaches and volunteers for making this possible.

Girls U7 – Ruby.
Girls U9 – Grace B, Freya, Sophie O, Sophie C, Grace R, Tilly, Cara, Evie.
Girls U11 – Kornelia, Áine, Mollie, Isabel, Millie, Hannah, Kara, Robyn, Chloe O, Pippa, Kate, Naoise, Olive, Lilliana, Lily-May.
Girls U13 – Libby, Florence, Georgia, Nicky, Zoe, Isabella.
Girls U15 – Bronagh, Beth, Aoife.

Boys U9 – Rowan, Cillian, Fionn, Jacob, Lewis.
Boys U11 – Elliot.
Boys U13 – Ciarán, Devon, Senan, Evan, Izaac, Pierce, Harry, Donncha, Cathal,
Boys U15 – Eoghan, Ruairí, Ethan F.
Boys U17 – Tristan.

Saturday was parkrun time. Avondale was our club run where we had Stan (19:40), Tiernan (21:58), Libby (25:43), Marc (26:20), Tommy (27:16), Slawek (27:18), Carmel (29:24), Korrina (29:25), and Geraldine (29:25) with Donna volunteering. At Gorey we had Elliot (22:03), and Matthew (27:33). Gareth travelled to Poppintree parkrun finishing in (25:04).

Well done to Elliot, Izabel, Izaac, Rowan, Maebh, Cúan, Evie, Lily-May, Hannah. Congratulations to Elliot and Rowan who both received their Half Marathon wristband.
