The weekend’s action began on Friday evening with Round 1 of the Juvenile League. Rathdrum Rugby Club was the venue for 33 of our Juveniles who took part in their respective age categories over various distances. Well done to Abbie, Adam, Aoife, Bronagh, Chloe K, Chloe O, Darragh, Ella, Emmie, Eoghan, Ethan F, Ethan H, Evan, Georgia, Harper, Isabel, Jakub, Jason, Juliet, Klaudia, Kornelia, Layla, Liam, Libby, Maebh, Millie, Mollie, Natalia, Oliver, Oskar, Ruairi, Senan & Tommy who all put in super performances on a chilly evening.
On Saturday at Avondale Forest parkrun we had three of our Juveniles Tommy (24:00), Libby (26:45), and Adam (33:23) along with Denny (24:10), Justin (32:11), Gillian (33:30) & Donna (33:32) while Carmel and Geraldine were on the volunteer roster. Gareth completed Gorey parkrun in (30:15).
Run The Line 2022 which is a fundraiser for Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue took place on Saturday morning. Well done to Susan who completed the 13k course in 1:46 while Michael finished the 26k route in 3:16.
Sunday was Junior parkrun time. Well done to our club Juveniles – Beth, Ella, Ethan F, Ethan H, Fiadh, Harper, Jude, Klaudia, Layla, Libby, Madison, Maebh, Mollie, Oliver, Ruairi & Tommy. Thanks to the volunteer roster also.
Juvenile training continues on Monday & Wednesday at 7pm. Senior training takes place on Tuesday at 7pm.
