Weekly Roundup May 8th
First up at the East Leinster Track & Field event in Santry, Jude took part in the long jump while Ben, Ruairí and Eoghan ran various distances. Well done to the lads and to Eoghan who finished 2nd in the Junior Boys 800m and now progresses on to the final.
Florence (40:57), Imogen (41:00), and Susan (45:07) took on the Carrickgologan short course IMRA race on Wednesday evening.
Imogen finished as 6th female in the 66k Knockmealdown IMRA Ultra in Waterford with a time of (10:48). Well done Imogen!
At Shanganagh parkrun we had Cormac (18:36), Elaine (23:45), and Denny (27:33).
Tiernan (20:13), Ethan (21:37), Elliot (22:09), Eddie (22:10), Adrian (22:35), Kevin (22:51), Beth (24:45), Jacqueline (24:51), Gareth (25:06), Matthew (27:28), and Philip (28:23) were all at Gorey while Marc (24:24) was at Avondale.
Carol was back in action at the Great Limerick Run finishing the Half Marathon in (2:07:38). Well done Carol!
Mollie participated in the St Abbans Open competing in the 80m Sprint, 500m, Long Jump, High Jump and Shot Putt.
Well done to Elliot, Rowan, Maebh, Florence, Cúan, and Harper who all completed the Duckpond Junior parkrun.
