First up on Wednesday Layla finished as 1st Juvenile female (32:47) on the short course with Susan (1:15) taking on the 7.5k course at the IMRA Sugar Bowl race. Well done ladies!
Saturday morning saw Oliver (22:25), and Gail (26:20) at Avondale parkrun while Cormac (19:01) was at Gorey with Zydrune on the volunteer roster. Stan (19:55), and Gareth (31:25) travelled to River Valley in Swords for the Irish-Polish Friendship parkrun.
Well done to Layla who was part of the Wicklow mixed distance relay team who finished in 3rd place at the Community Games National Cross Country Finals!
On Sunday John C took on the 12k John’s Hill IMRA race in Kilbrannish. Well done John!
Sunday was Junior parkrun time with the added celebrations for the 100th event. Well done to Abbie, Aoife, Beth, Ciara, Harper, Layla, Maebh, Mollie, Natalia, and Oskar.
Thanks to the volunteer roster of Susan, Zydrune, Jacqueline, Esme, Carmel, Gail, Donna, Justin, Philip, Teresa, Aoife, Eimear, Geraldine, Aimee, Jakub, and Justyna. It is a great achievement reaching 100 events and it wouldn’t be possible without both the juveniles to take part and the wonderful volunteers!
Juvenile Training takes place on Monday only. There is no Wednesday training due to the County 5k Championship race. There will also be no Tuesday senior Training for the same reason.
