The weekend started as always with parkrun where down at Gorey we were well represented along with Gareth on run director duties. We are looking forward to our club takeover where all volunteer roles will be filled by club members on June 11th. If you are interested in helping out please let us know! Well done to –

The Eco trail prep continued with Jacqueline, Aoife and Slawek hitting the hills again.
Gian took on the Glen to Glen Marathon with a cracking time of 1:45 on a tough hilly course around Glendalough. Well done Gian!
On Sunday Marc made his SBIM debut at the Fastlane 10k with a PB of 49:07 well done Marc!
Denny headed across the pond to the Great Manchester Run 10k finishing in a time of 53:06
Our juveniles were out as alawys at Arklow Duck Pond junior parkrun. Well done to Adam, Baileigh, Eimear, Harper, Libby, Madison, Oliver & Tommy. Thanks to our volunteers Slawek, Zydrune, Esme, Donna, Justin, Gillian, Aoife, Geraldine & Aimee.
Adult training continue this week, it’s that time of the year where we are thinking ahead to the Eco trail and Marathon. If you have signed up for any events this year, get in touch with us and see if being part of our group is right for you 😀 Juvenile training continues Monday and Wednesday, our groups remain full at present.
