This weeks roundup began on Thursday as 14 of our Juveniles travelled to take part in the Bray Runners Invitational which was held at the Greystones track. Well done to Aoife, Beth, Chloe, Darragh, Ella, Ethan, Fiadh, Harper, Layla, Libby, Mollie, Oliver, Ruairi & Tommy who all ran brilliantly over the course of the various events and distances.
On Saturday morning Gareth travelled to Mayo to complete the Achill Greenway parkrun in (29:42).
Sunday was Junior parkrun time with Aoife, Baileigh, Libby, Ruairi & Tommy all completing the drizzly course.

Also on Sunday Tiernan headed to Waterford to take on the Viking Marathon. With the months of hard work and training in the bag he finished in a fantastic time of (3:33:22) which is hugely impressive for a Marathon debut. Congratulations to Tiernan on a huge result cheered on by his always enthusiastic support crew!
Our next club run is the Wicklow County 5k this coming Wednesday 29th June. We are hoping for a very strong club turnout at what is one of the best events of the year.
Juvenile training has ceased for the Summer break with everyone enjoying a fun-filled final session and will return on August 22nd. Adult training continues at 7pm on Tuesday at the running track.
