Saturday was also a first for the club when Leo took part in the IWA National Track and Field event and put in an amazing effort, taking home Gold in the Javelin, Silver in Discus, and Bronze in the Shot Put. Well done Leo!

Later that evening, it was time for the Night of the 5k PB’s race right here in Arklow. The event, organised by Coral Leisure in aid of Arklow Community First Responders, was a terrific success from start to finish. We were represented in both the Elite and Non-Elite race with fantastic running on the night. Special thanks to all who turned out to cheer on their clubmates. Congratulations to all below and to Eoghan for taking the win in the Non-Elite race.

Sunday was the Irish Runner 10 Mile race where Tiernan (1:06 PB) and Jacqueline (1:18 PB) put in two fantastic runs with two PB’s on a wet morning. Well done to you both!

Well done to Elliot, Hannah, Pippa, Cuan, Grace, and Cara who all completed the Duckpond Junior parkrun.
