Weekly Roundup December 31st

There has been a lot of action over the last couple of weeks, so here is our Christmas period roundup!

Saturday 20th
Eoghan (18:36), Marc (24:19), Ethan H (25:50), Beth (25:51), Tiernan (25:51), Aoife (27:38), Slawek (28:38), Geraldine (31:57), and Carmel (31:58) were all at Avondale parkrun. Izzy (23:08), Gareth (25:58), and Philip (29:20) were at Gorey.
Philip was at Gorey on Christmas Day finishing in (29:13).

Saturday 27th
Marc (23:55), Michael (24:01), Gavin (26:52), Aoife (27:32), Geraldine (31:08), Carmel (31:13), Gillian, and Donna (34:36) were at Avondale. Elliot (20:16), Stan (20:35), Eddie (21:43), and Philip (28:22) were at Gorey. Cormac (18:48), Ethan F (22:00), and Fiona (23:47) were at Shangangh parkrun. Carol swapped Ireland for somewhere a bit sunnier and completed the Noosa parkrun in Queensland, Australia in (29:52).

Gareth managed to squeeze in three parkruns in three days abroad with Sabine parkrun in Rome (27:48) on Christmas Day, Warszawa-Żoliborz in Poland on the 26th (27:45), and Warszawa-Bródno on the 27th in (28:23).

Well done to Elliot and Rowan, who completed the GOAL mile event in Gorey on Christmas Eve.

Huge congratulations to Elliot, who was the overall winner of the Castletown 5k race on Stephen’s Day, with Bronagh finishing as first female. Well done to Senan and Rowan, who also ran excellently on the day.

Elaine completed the Castletown 10k in Wexford on the 26th. Well done Elaine

We were delighted to co-host the Christmas Canter event on the 28th alongside Aughrim AC. Well done to Elliot (1st place), Mollie, Maebh, Evan M, Rowan, Harper, and Georgia, who all took on the 2k race. Congratulations to Eoghan, who won the 5k race with Stan 1st Senior Male and also to Slawek, Adrian, Aoife, Philip, and Geraldine. Thank you to those who volunteered on the day also.

Well done to Elliot, Evan M, Grace, Harper, and Libby, who all completed the Duckpond Junior parkrun on the 21st.
