Our weekly roundup continues even with the Christmas festivities! First up on Christmas morning four members braved the cold and heavy rain to take on Gorey parkrun. Huge well done to Stan (20:41), Slawek (23:51), Esme (27:45) and Geraldine (27:51) who have hopefully all warmed up by now! Also a big thanks and well done to event director Gareth for ensuring a great morning was had as always.
On Monday seven of the crew made the short journey to take on the return of the Croghan Chase 4k & 8k in Wexford. Well done to everyone on what is a hilly tough course. Thanks to photographer and cheerleader Justin for his sideline support!

In other news we are delighted to announce the return of our SBIM Janurary Challenge for 2022 this year in aid of our charity partner Arklow Tidy Towns. The challenge is simple, exercise on any 20 days during January for 22 minutes and make an optional €20 donation to Arklow Tidy Towns. You can walk, run, jog, swim, cycle, yoga, exercise class, whatever your interest is, stick with the same one throughout or mix and match. Our next two club events are the Timed Mile on Sat January 15th for members and the Raheny 5 Mile race on Sun January 30th. Group entry rates are available up until the 29th so please ask a committee member for more details!
