We are absolutely thrilled with the participation in our first January Challenge in aid of East Coast Samaritans. Participants walked, ran, swam and cycled their way through January taking on 20 mins exercise across 20 days. Well done to everyone who took part, there was smiles all month long and we hope this is only the start for you all.
An amazing €924 has been raised for the East Coast Samaritans.
Saturday morning was Parkrun day for our members. Up at Avondale Forest we had Coach Michael and daughter Kate complete in 27:37, Geraldine complete in 28:22, Carmel 29:04, Alison 32:02 and Amanda 42:11. Well done everyone, super performances on a tough course.
Out at Gorey Parkrun, newest Inbhear Mór AC member Gareth completed 27:51. Welcome to the club Gareth!

Friday saw those taking on the 5k a day for January complete their challenge covering a super 155km during January. Well done to Carmel, Geraldine, Lisa and Nicola.
Sunday morning saw the green army travel to the popular Trim 10 mile road race. It was a beautiful morning for running with a bright crisp morning and Arklow was well represented with our green vests.
Coach Michael led us home in 1:14, followed by Tiernan 1:19 PB, Clair 1:23 PB, Aoife, Sam and Trish in 1:27. Well done everyone, great running by you all. The training and hard work is paying off. They were well supported and cheered on by Alan P and Jacqueline.
