Susan took part in the Liberties 5k finishing in (34:15).

Well done to Denny who completed the ‘Marathon My Way’ in aid of Wicklow Hospice.

We had our largest Juvenile participation at the Athletics Leinster Cross Country Championships in Tinahealy on Saturday.

The U9 Girls and Boys ran a fantastic race with some of them taking part in Cross Country for the first time. Well done to Pippa, Cara, Maebh, Olive, Sophie, Grace, Kate C and Cúan.

In the U11 Girls race, Izzy was the first club girl across the line and scored for Team Wicklow. This sees Izzy qualify for the All Ireland National Final as part of the Wicklow Team. It also secured a Team Gold for the U11 Girls. Well done to Izzy, Mollie, Kornelia, Chloe, Isabel, Isabella, Lilianna, Kate W, Millie, Nicky, Harper, and Georgia.

The U11 Boys also ran a fantastic race with both Senan and Donncha picking up Leinster Gold medals as part of Team Wicklow.

In the U13 Girls race, Bronagh and Jodi put in terrific performances with Bronagh the 4th Wicklow athlete across the line helping them to secure 4th place County team and although outside the medals, they progressed to the All Ireland National Finals.

The U13 Boys Darragh, Ethan, Devon, and Scott all ran brilliantly and finished as the 9th Club team in Leinster. Well done on a fantastic achievement.

Finally in the U15 Boys race, Eoghan and Ruairi finished in style with Eoghan the 3rd Wicklow athlete across the line helping them to a 2nd place finish. This saw both boys progress to the All Ireland National Finals.

Well done to Libby, Beth, Maebh, Cúan, Donncha, Harper, Georgia, Robyn, Florence, and Olive who all completed the Duckpond Junior parkrun on Sunday.
