Huge congratulations to Rowan, Izzy, Mollie, Millie, Georgia, Elliot, Ethan f, Bronagh and Eoghan who ran so well at Leinsters this morning.

Rowan was up first in the non championship race and he did absolutely amazing!

Then the U12 girls. Izzy had a fantastic run and scored 5th for the Wicklow team helping them to secure 1st place and a gold medal. Izzy will go on to Nationals in Derry. Mollie, Millie and Georgia were also part of the Wicklow team and recieved a Leinster gold medal. These girls also finished 15th club team out of the whole of Leinster and 3 of them were running up an age group. This is amazing team work

Elliot ran next in the U12 boys. He finished in 10th place for Wicklow who were the 2nd team home. Leinster silver medal for Elliot. He will go on to Nationals in Derry.

Then we had Bronagh and Ethan F in the U14s races. Both had excellent races with Bronagh finishing in 11th for Wicklow who were 2nd team home. Leinster silver medal for Bronagh and she is the first sub for the Wicklow team should anyone drop out.

Ethan F scored 5th for Wicklow with an absolutely fantastic, strong run but unfortunately the Wicklow team dont progress to Nationals in this age category.

Eoghan ran an excellent race in the U16 Boys finishing well up the top of the field. Unfortunately he didnt have a club team or a county team for this event.

Such a great experience for our athletes. Next up is the Uneven ages in Kilbeggan in 2 weeks time. Entries will be open soon.
